Dru Yoga

A graceful and powerful form of yoga, based on flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisation with relaxation and meditation. Its series or sequences are called Energy Block Release which has comparisons to Tai Chi.

With its foundations set firmly in ancient yoga it is practised by people of all abilities, all fitness levels and all age groups.

Hatha Yoga

The basis for most Western Yoga classes - Ashtanga, vinyasa and Power Yoga classes are all Hatha Yoga. It is the yoga of balance. Hatha practices are designed to align and calm your body, mind, and spirit in preparation for meditation with a series of Yoga postures along with breathing techniques. By focusing the mind into postures & breathing, this helps to centre your focus away from life’s troubles.

Ashtanga Yoga

A more powerful nonstop series of movements through one or more of the ashtanga series, with breathing techniques as you move from pose to pose. Each series is a set sequence of asanas, always in the same order. It is typically fast-paced, vigorous and physically challenging but follows the same principles as Hatha. You can learn this series in class and also learn it to take home for further home Yoga practice.

Core Yoga Flow

Based upon general Hatha Yoga principles Core Yoga Flow is a carefully selected range of flowing postures which will be focused on strengthening your core and abdomen. This is a powerful class for all abilities with a good fitness level and all age groups.

Yoga Flow

A later & longer morning class where you can enjoy a longer Hatha or Ashtanga Yoga flow. Breathing practice with stronger flowing Yoga movements & postures. Relaxation closes the practice. Classes are suitable for for a range of abilities from beginners, intermediate to advanced students.

Children's Yoga

A fun mixed ability class for children, groups which cater from walking ages 2-6 to ages 7-12. The classes are based around exciting stories and adventures and are specifically tailored for the different age groups.

Children aged 13 and over are welcome to join the adults classes with along with an adult.

Yoga Release - Stress & Anxiety

A gentle Yoga class based on Hatha principles to relax the body and mind. This class is for people of all abilities, all fitness levels and all age groups. It's aim is to help promote stress relief, assist with sleep problems, day to day anxieties and muscle tension.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is about observation without criticism; being compassionate with yourself. When unhappiness or stress hover overhead, mindfulness allows you to catch negative thought patterns before they tip you into a downward spiral. It begins the process of putting you back in control of your life.

Over time, mindfulness brings about long-term changes in mood and levels of happiness and wellbeing. It also positively affects the brain patterns underlying day-to-day anxiety, stress, depression and irritability so that when they arise, they dissolve away again more easily. Memory improves, creativity increases and reaction times become faster.



Tai Chi

A flowing practice based upon Chinese martial art's and the principles of Yin and Yang. Often reffered to as meditation in motion which can open energy channels, free blockages and rebalance the body. Suitable for all abilities
